At Blue Guardian, we understand that customers may need flexibility with their trading platforms. Here is an overview of the platform migration policies and available options:
Overview of Platform Availability
Discontinuation of cTrader: Blue Guardian no longer offers the cTrader platform for new or existing accounts as of May 21, 2023. Clients using cTrader prior to this date may still continue using it for existing accounts; however, switching to cTrader from other platforms is no longer an option.
Current Platform Options: The available platforms are MetaTrader 5 (MT5), Match Trader, and TradeLocker. Please note that for clients based in the United States, platform options are restricted to Match Trader and TradeLocker.
Eligibility Criteria for Platform Switching
Accounts Not Yet Traded On: Platform migration requests can only be processed if the trading account has not been used for any transactions. Once trades have been executed, platform switching is not permitted.
Exclusions: Giveaway accounts, typically issued with the Match Trader platform, are not eligible for migration to other platforms.
Steps to Request a Platform Change
Confirm that your trading account has not yet been traded on.
Identify the platform you wish to migrate to (limited to MT5, Match Trader or TradeLocker).
Contact the Blue Guardian support team to initiate the migration request.
